See, amazon has this new policy wherein all GLBT lit is classified as “adult” and is therefore NAUGHTY, and obviously we the people need to be protected from such filth. So, these books now don’t get an amazon rank or turn up in searches or in the “If you like this then you may like this…” feature. The books are still there, sort of, you just have to know exactly what you’re looking for; no more browsing.
So this list of banned books includes: Heather Has Two Mommies, Brokeback Mountain, and The Mayor of Castro Street: The Life and Times of Harvey Milk.
Horrible, disgusting books all. Luckily, amazon still has Playboy and vibrators an easy search away, so we will have something to fill our times.
Seriously, though, amazon has no idea the wrath it has brought upon itself.
