are you ready for this?

And now.

The moment we have all been waiting for.

Ta-da! Isn’t it pretty?

Here’s a close-up. The blurriness is due more to my photographic abilities than to the tattoo itself, though it is still healing.

And if you can tell me what the quote is from without googling it–and I will *know* if you googled it–you get extra gracepoints. Which are very very valuable, I promise.

Awesome tattoo! I assumed based on your previous post that you would be getting one before too long. And I am going out on a limb here and saying the quote is from something Oscar wrote–I was halfway expecting you to get a heart with “Oscar” written on it–but I don’t know what. Am I right?

    WRONG, Godar. :P

and Travis have you noticed how San Jose is #2 in the league? #1 in the West, and they’ve been jostling with Boston for #1 overall for the past while. Stars who?

    “watch how I soar”

can you really not read it? people keep having problems. can I only read it because I *know* what it says? le sigh. I might get the H touched up, it seems to be the main troublemaker.

and no, not Dr. Who. :D

  4. are you growing your hair out?
the tat is lovely! i love the saying, too!

how do you feel about a tat you can barely
see?? do you have any that is more visible
    to you?

Okay, so I’m a month late… The only place I have heard that phrase was in Serenity. Alan Tudyk voiced the line as I recall. It is too bad the film didn’t achieve commercial success. The DVD extras are hilarious; ‘the cartridge fell out of my gun’ was a riot.

So, am I right or was the quote from somewhere else? If they said it in firefly, it still counts…

Brandon you are officially my favorite person of the day!

Yes they’re Wash’s dying words; the full phrase is: “I am a leaf on the wind, watch how I soar.” (see the leaves? get it? get it?)

    Brandon = grace’s new best friend. :)

let's talk!
